Keep an eye out on this blog, because I will be beginning my first blog series (that is multiple blogs with a common theme) in the coming week. The series will be called "Things I Learned from Dr. Seuss". If you like zingwhatsits and whomzoozits, you will love this.
i likie dr.suess kinda well it was ok but i wish i wasn't in AER for that b/c i would have loved to be in there when people were trying to read Dr. Suess. it sometimes messes me up when i read it b/c it rhymes so much and i get tongue tied or something. BUT I LIKED TO READ IT EVEN THOUGH I GET TONGUE TIED AND BY THE WAY I PUT THOSE PACKETS ON YOUR DESK OF THE DR. SUESS THING AND I STARTED TO COLOR ONE OF THEM i got bored in AER ( and i don't know why that is in caps but i didn't mean too! oops)
ReplyDeleteDr.Suess is awesome. I like the things he says because most of the time even though it doesn't seem like it but there is meaning behing all his words. Most of the time it can mean a lot to someone by just saying a few words of encaragement to help them out which is how a lot of his books work i think

Dr. Seuss is an absolute genius with wordplay. The way he can put together letters and come out with a new weird but yet exciting word is absolutely genius. I used to love Dr. Seuss when I was little and I still do now but now I understand the messages in his stories and don't just get caught up in the rhymes.

Dr. suess is one of my childhood favorites the colors and pictures is what got me along with the rhyming and how it all whent together.
ReplyDeletehey this is linda kerrick ok i know that you were expecting me to do my blog on another topic but i couldent find anything to say so dr. suess is one of the best childrens book writers that i have ever read he makes reading easy for kids and helps them understand the things in life better than shoving a text book in their face (not saying that i dont like learning but its boring that way =] ) his books are loved all around the world and childeren adore him i dont know how i would have lived with out dr. suesses books to help me with colors shapes and numbers....
ReplyDeleteI grew up on Dr. suess. When i was little that is what i always watched. MY aunt hated it, but i would cry till i got my way.
